This cake represents many things from the story. Fire for Katniss' fire dress, the forest where much of the story takes place, the barbed wire fence that she climbs through to hunt, her bow and arrow, the mockingjay pin and her braided hair is the top border.
I have been decorating cakes since 1992. I thought it would be fun to be able to make cakes for my family. That soon extended to friends then friends of friends! If you are a cake decorator I would love your suggestions and comments!
